Touching our Black Sea

The Family Without Borders first time together on the Black Sea in Varna (Bulgaria)

A visit-surprise for Tom’s parents changed our plan to touch Bulgaria in September. We crossed to Danube river for two days already now to visit Hanna’s grandmother and grandfather.

The bridge on the border Giurgiu-Ruse is huge and I have never seen such a big river as Danube in here. After paying one week road tax, Bulgaria welcomed us with a real good road and we got new record of our car speed. And we reached Varna! And we reached… the Black Sea!!

Was really difficult to make picture because Hanna didn’t want to stop steering on waves. First noticeable sea in her life (I guess she doesn’t remember Adriatic Sea when we were making an Orange  Magazine in Bari, she was 4 months old), she was really really impressed. Then – first meeting with sand, also fun.

And in this moment I realized that we will not only visit all those countries around the Black Sea but we will really see the sea from so many different sides, during so many different days, sunshines and rains. Ah!

And Hanna got a pair of new shoes from grandma. Because… Hanna is standing! (more about it soon).

Our first book is out!

We have published our first book (for now just in Polish:) about our Central America Trip.
