Cool, because situated between hills in a small valley. Cool, because very walkable and likable with all the small cafes (first time we felt Berlin’s atmoshpere). Cool, because of all the Maya’s culture in the city.

San Cristobal de las Casas, the cultural centre (but not the capital) of Chiapas region has a Spanish colonial layout and architecture and very lovely cobblestone streets and markets full of life. That’s why this time it will be more about pictures than about words.

San Cristobal absorbs. People come there for one night and stay for long. So did we. Altogether we stayed there almost for a week, being happy about a bit lower temperature (ok, night were cold!), friendly people and relaxed flow.

Our home was an Iguana Hostel, place run by Polish-Mexican couple (she is another example of coming and staying for longer). Place where you feel like sitting and talking, which doesn’t help to start the trip again.

Through the town you can walk and walk and walk, there and back, meeting same smiling faces. We, for example, met people we spend nice time some weeks earlier, in Tulum.

Our first book is out!

We have published our first book (for now just in Polish:) about our Central America Trip.
