Welcome to Azerbaijan
After super-relaxed Georgia time for empty and dry Azerbaijan with different religion, far to many pictures of the president in each village and hot as bath Caspian Sea.
“Azerbaijan border – good luck” – that’s how Georgia said to us goodbye. And the sign was right: on the border we spend almost 6 hours due to lack of the internet. But was ok, we got food, Hanna was playing with keys and mobiles of all the guys around.
- We are strong and angry – that was the answer when I asked the most talkative border controller about Azeri people. Ok…
From the beginning on of our Azeri adventure the climate changed (was much more hot), people changed (not only clothes but also being open for us and Hanna), menu in restaurants changed (you can get mainly shashlyk and shashlyk) and Georgian cows on the streets changed into sheep.
So ok, we have 10 days of our visa and such a big, almost 90 000 square meters, country.
