Once a year you can do Pacific Islands’ hopping without moving from Auckland. And because the timing was perfect: we were in Auckland exactly at this weekend, and because after New Zealand we will do the real islands’ hopping – we had to visit Pasifika Festival.

At home kids usually have their own room, usually full of toys. Or at least a corner of the room, usually full of toys. Small, big, dolls, teddy bears, legos, games, balls and rocking horses. How to put it all into a backpack when you travel??

Exactly 2 years ago, we were sitting in some tiny cafe in the mountains of Honduras, long weeks without mobile network, trying to catch any internet and then we have received an email. That my beloved papa very suddenly passed away. This is the worst in travelling. That you are far, far away.
We said: Just do it? So we just did it! Last night we booked the flights for our next long, big, family, amazing trip. – Where to?!? – everybody asks.
