In Romania it’s not always sunny, we had storms and rain too. But we liked it!
Somewhere between Alba Iulia and Sibiu, when we were looking for a place to make our camp storm was just passing by and the rainbow appeared. Have I already told you that Romania is beautiful?

In Turda, not far from Cluj-Napoca we visited Salt Mine. Knowing just that it’s big and old – we came downstairs, with Hanna packed in warm clothes. And that was the most surrealistic surprise ever! In the hole after the the bell.shaped salt mine (opened in 1271!) there is an amazing modern playing ground.

Cluj is super-sweet! And lively! (it’s a students city) And sun was shining and we had lovely hosts.
We started from being interviewed (more about it in the next post). Then simply walking and feeling the atmosphere: in the center, on the hill, at the Freedom monument, (the only in Europe) symmetrical street, Zorki coffee. Weiterlesen

After spending calm time in Oradea, we obviously needed some adventures. Visiting Bear Cave was not enough, we drove to Cluj-Napoca through Apuseni Mountains, National Park. With average speed 10km/hour. For 6 hours!
To visit Bear Cave we had to stay one day longer at nearby river, because cave is not open for tourists on Mondays Weiterlesen
