Was an amazing time. 9 countries, 6 months and 3 people (including our 1 sweet baby). We met the Gypsy King in Moldova, became good friends with a poor family in autonomous republic Transnistria, fell in love with Crimean landscape, hated corrupted Russian police, had a good rest in Chechenyan villages in Georgia, melt in Weiterlesen

At the beginning I couldn’t get used to funny Moldovan bank-notes which looks for me like Monopoly money. Now after almost a month, when I know them very well, we are leaving.
I also have a feeling that I know Chisinau very well. Annoying one-way roads are not so annoying anymore (because we know which one Weiterlesen

In Saharna, less than 100 km north from Chisinau you can find something for your soul and something for your eyes.
There is an Orthodox Saharna Monastery from 15th century, sitting in the small valley. Very colorful place.
From there few paths through forest are leading to sweet, small waterfall situated on on overhanging cliff. After some Weiterlesen
