Russian road police: Shoot back!
Every morning the same game: Maybe a fast cigarette with shaking, sweating hands before starting? Shit I don’t smoke anymore. Or a sip of vodka? Bullshit, it’s morning. I feel like puking – have to find to a tree. I am sick. Starting the car means inevitable consequences.
I feel just like in school times before a big mathematics exam. You skipped the last classes, you are not prepared at all, you will fail badly. I am sick. Leaving the house in the morning, going to school means inevitable consequences.
And still I turn the key and start the car. Driving three minutes and you see him from far away. You go slower, even if it doesn’t help, you see his white blue car behind the trees, his big hat. You see him looking at your car, at your foreign number plate, you see him raising his arm, pointing at you. Your heart is beating into your neck, you swallow not to puke. Camping means freedom for the baby

Crossing the National Park by car
After spending calm time in Oradea, we obviously needed some adventures. Visiting Bear Cave was not enough, we drove to Cluj-Napoca through Apuseni Mountains, National Park. With average speed 10km/hour. For 6 hours! read more »
Do not always trust Lonely Planet
Let’s go outside of the town! Lonely Planet recommends Kremenets castle and situated not far from there Pochayiv Monastery. So we jumped into the car, together with Neil, my British friend who came to visit us in Lviv, took chocolates with us and started. read more »
Bye Germany, bye Poland!
So… we are really starting our trip now! After busy weeks of preparations we are on the road. Still in Poland, Cracow but tomorrow we want to cross Ukrainian border and jump around from happiness that first of 9 countries around the Black Sea is reached.
Amazing feeling to finally leave home towns (Berlin and Warsaw) with Renault Espace packed till its limits. Feeling of snail which has his home and all he needs on the back. read more »
