See you next year!!

The Family Without Borders - Familie ohne Grenzen - 2013

Just a short: HAPPY NEW YEAR for you all! We are very happy to have so many readers and want to make a little summery of this year 2013.

Somehow in between preparations for tonight’s party (I will be a jaguar and Tom will be a females doctor:), we make a little break to give you a summary of this year. Girls are happily celebrating in Warsaw with their grandma and we are watching our blog and smiling a bit.

Every month we have around 15-20 000 people on our blog, more than 6000 people is following us on facebook and we are getting so many nice emails, invitations and (!) talks on the streets. Thank you for it! Thank you for a lot of „likes“ and for almost no hate. Your critic comments are very important for us but we are also happy we don’t have many of them.

2013 was a good year. Even if we haven’t travel too much, we wrote more than 70 posts, mainly from our trip to Bosnia.

We started the Polish section of the page and this was a very good idea. I can tell you in secret that very soon you will be also able to read the German one!

We organised a competition and the winner (in this case the parents of the winner) will visit soon Zakopane thanks to it. We also gave to all of you a present (still possible to order it today, until the midnight!!): 50 prints of your pictures for free.

Quite popular became a section with our little tips: ten things you need on the trip, how to sleep in the car, where to sleep in the car, how to travel with kids by train and how to travel with kids by plane. There will be more coming soon, promise!

A great kick (emotional kick) gave me writing more personal posts and getting this amazing feedback from you. We shared some stories about our life, pregnancy time, our flat we share with others or our couchsurfing experience.

The most read and liked post was about an uncle of our girl, my dear brother: Kuba. This was also the most important text for me, the most important thing I would like to share with you.

Big plans are getting closer in this upcoming year. We will go on another biiiiiig, greeeeaaaat trip. In 2 months. You will get stories, tips and pictures from far far far away. Yupppppi!

Our first book is out!

We have published our first book (for now just in Polish:) about our Central America Trip.

    Anna,

Wish you and your family a very happy new year! I love your blog and look forward to read more about your travel in 2014.

We just came back from a 17 day trip to Guatemala with our 10 month old daughter. We had a great time. Reading some of your posts about travel in Guatemala…especially Semuc Champey helped and inspired us.

Thanks again and wish you all the very best!
