Because we decided not to make too long car driving every day – we still had one stop for night in Poland, in the middle of the way Cracow-Lviv. Visiting Zuza’s parents in Trzebownisko, near Rzeszow was like coming back home, under care of somebody calm and familiar. Drinking, like at home from Nescafe cups (every good Polish family has some of them;), having some kids-talks, watching 12th episode of Lost before going to bed.
We’ve got eggs and pickles for the way (together with jam and bread from Radom makes already good breakfast), repacked car once again (practice makes perfect) and headed to the border.
This exalted step of passing from EU into the east we made in village Korczowa. Luckily faster than others (because Hanna is “malenkaja rebionka”), we had to fulfill forms few times (because when the customs official woman saw our destination (“–>Lviv-Ukraine-Romania-Moldova-Ukraine-Russia-Georgia-Azerbaijan-Armenia-Turkey-Bulgaria…) she looked on me like on fool and advised to write “Lviv, hotel Lviv”!!). So I did. Stamp after stamp, we finally ended up on first petrol station after the border.
From the beginning on Tom is very impressed by Ukrainian roads (heh, maybe finally he will stop joking about Polish ones). And I’m happy that when we arrived to Lviv I gave him the steering wheel..
Ah, one more good news! We’ve got an email from Hipp company (you know, all those kids products) that they will be happy to send us package of goods. The question is what address should we give them?

I was resting in Lviv two weeks ago. Everything’s great, beautiful city, low prices, good alcohol, exceptionally beer )) Stayed in apartment, booked it here rentandstay.com.ua. The apartment had nice location just across the road from Lviv’s beautiful Opera house. It’s an alright apartment with a decent kitchen if you want to cook. The host was really nice and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to rent from them again, but I would probably choose 1 of their other listings.
Nice old town , I like the atmosphere and people are mostly nice there too. There are many churches, museums and cafés there. But you need to be careful and wear flat shoes, because there are cobblestones everywhere. I had an excellent time in the rented apartment. The center of the city is within walking distance and there is a nice supermarket just around the corner. Flat was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. There were plenty of bedding, towels, and great amenities. If you need a good place to stay for coupe days you can rent this apartment too (the contacts if the host burak.dmytro@mail.ru).
